We’re the lucky ones. We carry fond childhood recollections of coffee’s enticing aroma gently warming the morning air around us. This was when a lifelong love for coffee began. As we came of age, we were courted by the romance of coffee. Enjoying coffee became a symbol of our maturity and helped usher us into adulthood. Coffee fueled our energy as we entered the workforce and labored through our studies. Coffee became a conduit for our social interactions. Dinner parties, brunches, first dates, weekend get-togethers, breaks at work, the morning ritual in quiet solitude, meeting with old friends or making new ones; everything that mattered seemed to center around coffee.

Then coffee became an avenue for our livelihood. The job became a vocation and we were called to begin an endless quest to gain knowledge in all things coffee. We are baristas and brewers, artisans and craftspeople, teachers and learners, coffee buyers, cuppers, and roasters. Our journey is ongoing and everlong.

We pay a premium for our green coffee purchases to demonstrate our respect for the coffee growers, farmers, and families of pickers who toil in the tropical sun to harvest and process the Grain of Gold. We artfully roast and skillfully prepare our coffees for you to enjoy. Our goal is to provide our friends with the best possible product and service available.  We are coffee’s proud and faithful stewards. We take great joy in celebrating the dark elixir.
